TRX Underhand-Grip Inverted Row

The TRX inverted row with the palms turned up toward the face; the underhand grip keeps the elbows close and brings the biceps further in.

How to do it

Setup

Lying under the handles with the heels down, arms straight, palms turned up, body one straight line.

Steps

  1. Pull the chest to the handles, elbows close to the ribs.
  2. Keep the palms up and the wrists straight at the top.
  3. Lower yourself slowly to straight arms.

Common mistakes

Turning it into a curl: the elbows travel back, not up. Palms rolling to neutral as you tire: keep them facing up. Hips folding: squeeze the glutes and keep the line.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale on the way down.
