Terms of Use

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Trenno (“the App”), published by NEXTSIGNAL SOLUTIONS LTD (“we”): the iPhone app, its Apple Watch companion and the web version at my.trenno.app, which use the same account. By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Health and safety: please read

The App is a training log. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any weights, repetitions, programs or suggestions it shows, including values carried over from your own history, are informational only.

Strength training carries a risk of injury. Consult a physician before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have any medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury, or are new to training. Stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell. You train at your own risk and remain responsible for your technique, your loads and your safety.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control: the iPhone app and its Apple Watch companion in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service, and the web version in your browser. The App is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute it, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Your account

The App works with an account, created with Sign in with Apple or with an email address and a password. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: everything done through your account is treated as done by you, and you are responsible for it. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it. One person, one account; an account is yours and cannot be transferred or sold. You can change your email address and password, log out, and delete the account at any time in Settings → Account.

Sync and the service

With an account, the training data you log is stored in it on our servers, synced to the devices you sign in on and shown in the web version. We work to keep the service available and your data intact, but syncing depends on your connection and on services we do not control, and it may be interrupted or delayed. The iPhone app keeps working on the device without a connection and syncs when one returns. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; the App can export your data as a file at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App or our servers in a way that is unlawful, or that harms, overloads or interferes with them or with other people's use of them;
  • access our servers other than through the App or an assistant you connected (see “Assistants you connect”), or try to access data that is not yours;
  • put unlawful, abusive or infringing content into notes, names, routines you share, reports or any other field;
  • copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App or its built-in content.

Profiles, comments and other people

Other people can see what you show them in Trenno: your profile page with your name, username, photo, bio and the links you add, as your setting “Who can see your training” allows; the comments and replies you write under workouts; the workouts you like; and the people you follow. What you put there must respect them. There is no tolerance in Trenno for objectionable content or for abusive users. You may not post, in a comment or a reply, in your name, username, bio or profile photo, or anywhere else other people see:

  • harassment, bullying, threats or insults aimed at a person;
  • hate speech or slurs against people for who they are, such as their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability;
  • sexual content, or content that sexualizes anyone;
  • violence, or encouragement of self-harm;
  • spam, including repeated or unsolicited promotion;
  • pretending to be someone else;
  • other people's private information, or anything unlawful or infringing.

Before a comment, a reply, a username, a name or a bio is saved, we check it against a list of offensive words, and a text that holds one is not saved: you see why at once and can change it. Anyone who sees a comment, a person, a shared workout or a shared routine can report it to us in the App, and you can block a person at any time: they can then no longer open your profile or your workouts, follow you, or like or comment on your workouts. We review every report. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that breaks them. A suspended account keeps its own training: it still syncs, and its history and its export stay. Other people, however, no longer see its profile, comments, likes or shared links, and it cannot comment, like, follow, change its name, username or bio, or share its routines by link until we lift the suspension. To ask about a decision, write to support@trenno.app.

Your data is yours

Everything you log belongs to you. The App stores it on your device, in your account on our servers and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud account; the web version keeps a copy in your browser. We claim no rights over it beyond the permission you give us to show other people your profile page, your comments and the workouts and routines you share, and to let them save a copy of a routine (see “Profiles, comments and other people” and “Routines you share”). We access it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Routines you share

At my.trenno.app you can share one of your routines by link. Who can open the link follows your setting “Who can see your training”, in Settings → Privacy: with Everyone, anyone who has the link; with Followers, only the people who follow you; with Only you, nobody but you. Those who can open it see the routine as it is now, including the changes you make to it later: its name, its notes, its exercises and the planned sets, without your name, your weights or your workouts. If they have a Trenno account, they can also save a copy of it to their own account. Your routines also appear on your profile page, each the way a link shows it, for the people who can see your workouts there, and they can save a copy of any of them (see “Profiles, comments and other people”). You allow us to show your routines to the people who can open them, on your profile page and through the links you share, and to let them save such a copy for their own use in Trenno. Share only what you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, abusive or infringing.

Choosing Only you closes at once every link you have shared, and choosing Followers or Everyone opens the same links again for the people that choice allows. Deleting the routine or your account stops the link. A copy someone has already saved stays in their account. Anyone who opens a shared routine can report it to us with the link at the bottom of its page. We may disable the link of a routine that breaks these terms: the link then stops working, the routine shows “Link disabled by Trenno”, and it cannot be shared again unless we enable the link.

Reporting illegal content

If a shared routine or anything else on Trenno contains illegal content, write to support@trenno.app with the link and the reason. We review every report and tell you what we decided. support@trenno.app is also our single point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.

Assistants you connect

You can connect an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your account: the assistant sends you to my.trenno.app, where you see what it asks to do and choose Allow. It then acts for you within what you allowed: it reads your training, creates routines and programs if it asked to, and reads your weigh-ins and body measurements only if you ticked that box. It can never delete anything, change a workout you have done, change an existing routine or program, or change your settings. A connection has limits on how often it can call our servers and how many routines and programs it can create in a day. Routines and programs it creates are yours, like the ones you make yourself.

The assistant is not ours: its answers, its advice and the plans it builds come from the company behind it, under that company's own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect an assistant at any time at my.trenno.app, in Settings → Security, and we may end a connection that breaks these terms.

Built-in content

The exercise catalog, its pictures, videos and descriptions, and the ready-made programs and routines in the App are provided for use inside the App and remain our property or that of our licensors. They are guidance, not a prescription, and may be inaccurate or unsuitable for you.

Third-party links

The App can open external sites, such as a video search for an exercise. Those sites are not ours; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We aim to keep data formats compatible across versions, and the App's export file lets you take your data with you regardless.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes your account and everything in it from our servers, and the App's data from your iPhone and from its iCloud copy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to abuse the service or if the law requires it, with notice where we reasonably can. If the service is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data first. After termination the data in the account is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Warranty and liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations, reminders or synchronization will always be accurate or timely.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost data, or for injury arising from your training. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised terms.
