Machine Reverse-Grip High Row (Plate-Loaded)
The plate-loaded high row with the palms turned toward you; the underhand grip brings the biceps in and keeps the elbows tight.
How to do it
Setup
Seated under the levers, chest on the pad, the handles gripped underhand above shoulder height.
Steps
- Pull the handles down and back, elbows close to the body.
- Squeeze the blades as the hands reach the shoulders.
- Return the levers up with control.
Common mistakes
Curling the handles down: the elbows drive, the hands follow. Wrists bending back under load: straight line from forearm to knuckles. Leaning back to finish: the chest stays on the pad.
Breathing
Exhale pulling down, inhale returning.
