Squat Thrust
Squat down, hands on the floor, kick the feet back to a plank and jump them back in; stand up – no push-up, no leap.

How to do it
Setup
Stand tall, feet shoulder-width.
Steps
- Squat down and put the hands on the floor under the shoulders.
- Jump the feet back to a plank, hips level.
- Jump them back in between the hands.
- Stand up tall; no push-up, no leap.
Common mistakes
Hips piking on the jump back: the plank is a straight line. Feet landing wide of the hands: aim them between the palms. Turning it into a burpee: the squat thrust is the two jumps and nothing else.
Breathing
Exhale on each jump; steady rhythm.
