Kettlebell Burpee
The burpee done holding two kettlebells: squat the bells to the floor, jump back to a plank on their handles, jump the feet in and stand up with them.
How to do it
Setup
Standing tall, feet hip-width, a kettlebell hanging in each hand.
Steps
- Squat and set both bells on the floor, still gripping the handles.
- Jump the feet back to a straight-arm plank on the bells.
- Jump the feet back in beside the bells.
- Stand up with the bells, back flat, as in a deadlift.
Common mistakes
Bells tipping in the plank: set them flat and stack the shoulders over the handles. Hips sagging as the feet land back: brace before the jump. Rounding the back to lift the bells: sit the hips back and stand with a flat back.
