Star Jump Burpee
A burpee to a straight-arm plank whose leap throws the arms and legs wide into a star; land with the feet together.
How to do it
Setup
Stand tall, feet shoulder-width.
Steps
- Drop the hands to the floor and kick back to a plank on straight arms.
- Hop the feet back up to the hands.
- Leap and throw the arms and legs wide into a star.
- Close them in the air and land with the feet together.
Common mistakes
Landing with the feet still wide: close them in the air. Arms only, legs forgotten: it is a star, four points. Hips piking or sagging in the plank: one straight line from the heels to the head.
Breathing
Exhale on the jump, inhale landing.
