Lying Prone W to T
Face down on the floor, lift the arms in a W, then straighten them out to the sides into a T while they stay off the floor, and fold them back.
How to do it
Setup
Lying face down, elbows bent below shoulder height, hands beside the head in a W, forehead down.
Steps
- Lift the elbows and hands off the floor in the W.
- Straighten the arms out to the sides into a T, still lifted.
- Bend back into the W and lower to the floor.
Common mistakes
Arms touching down during the change: they stay off the floor from W to T. Neck arching to look up: forehead toward the floor, neck long. Rushing the switch: move slowly enough to feel the blades hold.
Breathing
Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
