Lying Prone Y to T to W
Face down on the floor, the lifted arms pass through three letters in a row: overhead in a Y, out to the sides in a T, then bent into a W.
How to do it
Setup
Lying face down, arms straight overhead in a Y, thumbs up, forehead resting on the floor.
Steps
- Lift the arms off the floor in the Y.
- Sweep them out to a T, then bend the elbows into a W, arms still lifted.
- Lower to the floor and start again from the Y.
Common mistakes
Resting the arms between letters: they stay lifted through the whole sequence. Hurrying through the letters: hold each position for a moment. Head lifting with the arms: forehead down, neck long.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
