Kick Through Push-Up
A push-up, then turn onto one hand and kick the opposite leg through under the body, the free arm reaching up; back to the plank and switch sides.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, feet hip-width, hands set just under the shoulders.
Steps
- Lower into a push-up and press back up.
- Pivot onto one hand and kick the opposite leg through under the body.
- Reach the free arm up, then return to the plank and switch sides.
Common mistakes
Supporting hand drifting away from under the shoulder: stack the shoulder over it before you turn. Dropping the hips to the floor in the kick-through: keep them hovering. Rushing back into the push-up: reset the plank first.
Breathing
Exhale on the press and on the kick-through.
