EZ-Bar Standing Wrist Reverse Curl

The standing palms-down wrist curl with an EZ-bar in front of the thighs, hands on its bends.

How to do it

Setup

Standing, EZ-bar in an overhand grip on the bends, resting against the thighs.

Steps

  1. Lift the knuckles, raising the bar off the legs.
  2. Stop when the wrists can bend back no further.
  3. Lower the bar back to the thighs.

Common mistakes

Too much weight: extensors tire fast; start with the empty bar. Arms bending into a reverse curl: straight arms. Wrists collapsing sideways: lift in line with the forearms.

Breathing

Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
