Burpee Push-Up Mountain Climber Complex
A burpee that stays in the plank for a push-up and a run of mountain climbers before the feet come back in.
How to do it
Setup
Standing, feet shoulder-width, arms at the sides.
Steps
- Crouch, hands down, and jump back into a high plank.
- Do one push-up.
- Drive the knees in turn for a few mountain climbers.
- Jump the feet in and stand up.
Common mistakes
Hips piking during the climbers: keep the plank line. Sagging through the push-up: brace before you lower. Standing up with a rounded back: chest up as the hips rise.
Breathing
Exhale on the push-up; breathe with the knee drives.
