Band Seated Wide-Grip Row
The band row seated on the floor with the band around the feet, the handles pulled wide to the chest with the elbows out.
How to do it
Setup
Seated on the floor, legs long, the band around the soles, the handles held wide, arms long.
Steps
- Pull the handles to the chest, elbows flared out to the sides.
- Squeeze the blades with the chest lifted.
- Let the arms reach forward to the feet again.
Common mistakes
Pulling to the belly with the elbows in: that is the ordinary seated row. Rounding the back as the arms reach: sit tall on the sit bones. Band sliding up the feet: keep it on the arches.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
