Band One-Arm Standing Wide-Grip Low Row
The one-arm band row from a low anchor with the elbow sweeping out to the side; the free hand braces on the rack and the pull finishes at the lower chest.
How to do it
Setup
Split stance facing a rack, the band anchored low on its base, the free hand on an upright, the working arm long.
Steps
- Row the band up and back, the elbow traveling out to the side.
- Finish at the lower chest with the shoulder blade pulled back.
- Return to a long arm slowly; switch sides after the set.
Common mistakes
Elbow tucking into the side: this variant sweeps it WIDE. Leaning on the braced hand to twist: it only steadies. Shrugging at the finish: blade back, shoulder down.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
