Band One-Arm Twisting Seated Row
The one-arm band row seated on the floor, the torso turning away from the anchor as the elbow drives back.
How to do it
Setup
Seated on the floor, legs long, the band anchored ahead at shoulder height, its handle in one hand.
Steps
- Row the handle to the ribs and let the torso turn with the elbow.
- Finish with the working shoulder drawn back and the chest open.
- Turn back to square as the arm returns long.
Common mistakes
Spinning from the arms alone: the turn comes from the trunk and follows the elbow. Slumping onto the tailbone: sit tall on the sit bones. Letting the band snap the arm forward: resist it all the way back.
Breathing
Exhale on the row and turn, inhale returning.
