Cable One-Arm Twisting Seated Row
The one-arm cable row seated on the floor, the torso turning with the pull so the shoulder travels back past the hip.
How to do it
Setup
Seated on the floor facing the low pulley, legs long, one handle in one hand, arm long.
Steps
- Row the handle to the ribs, turning the chest open to that side.
- Let the elbow finish behind the torso.
- Unwind to square as the arm reaches back toward the stack.
Common mistakes
Twisting before the arm moves: pull and turn together. Rounding over the legs at the reach: sit tall even there. Heavy stack: the twist is lost first; go lighter.
Breathing
Exhale on the row and turn, inhale returning.
