Band One-Arm Standing Low Row

In a staggered stance with a band anchored low in front, row one end to the hip; the free arm reaches forward for balance.

How to do it

Setup

Staggered stance facing a band anchored low in front, torso leaning slightly forward, the band's end in one hand, arm long.

Steps

  1. Row the band to the hip, elbow along the body.
  2. Pull the shoulder blade back without turning the chest.
  3. Let the band draw the arm forward slowly; switch sides after the set.

Common mistakes

Twisting to pull further: shoulders square to the anchor. Elbow flaring out: it brushes the side. Band snapping the arm forward: resist it on the return.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
