Band Straight-Back Seated Row
The band row seated on the floor with the band looped around the soles; the back stays straight and still from the first rep to the last.
How to do it
Setup
Seated on the floor, legs long, the band around the soles, a handle in each hand, torso upright.
Steps
- Pull the handles to the hips with the back held straight.
- Hold the chest up at the finish.
- Return the arms long without rounding forward.
Common mistakes
Rounding forward to reach the handles: shorten the band instead. Band slipping off the soles: set it under the arches. Rocking the torso to help: only the arms and blades move.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
