Wide-Elbow Dumbbell Triceps Press
Lying press with the elbows deliberately flared and the dumbbells lowered to the chest; the long head takes the stretch.

How to do it
Setup
Lying, bells over the chest, elbows DELIBERATELY flared wide.
Steps
- Lower the bells to the chest line with the elbows out.
- Keep the forearms vertical.
- Press up, finishing with the triceps.
Common mistakes
Tucking out of habit: the WIDE flare is this variant's signature. Bells drifting toward the belly: chest line. Overloading: the flare trades load for the long-head angle.
Breathing
Inhale lowering, exhale pressing.
