V-Sit on Floor
Pressed up on the hands beside the hips, the straight legs rise past the L-sit until they point up in a V, the buttocks off the floor.
How to do it
Setup
Seated, legs straight together, hands flat on the floor beside the hips, arms straight.
Steps
- Press the floor away to lift the buttocks.
- Raise the straight legs as high as they go toward the chest.
- Hold, then lower the legs and sit down with control.
Common mistakes
Rounding forward and sinking into the shoulders: press tall through straight arms. Knees bending as the legs rise: keep them locked; lift lower if needed. Dropping down at the end: lower the legs slowly.
Breathing
Short steady breaths; never held.
