TRX Single-Leg Plank (Straight Arm)

The TRX single-leg forearm plank with one arm reaching straight forward as the free leg lifts; two limbs leave the floor at once.

How to do it

Setup

Forearm plank, one foot in the TRX cradle, the other foot hanging below it.

Steps

  1. Reach one arm straight forward as the free leg lifts behind.
  2. Keep the hips square on one forearm and one foot.
  3. Return both, then use the other arm; switch feet after the time.

Common mistakes

Rolling toward the reaching side: widen the supporting elbow and brace. Reaching the arm out to the side: point it straight ahead. Rushing the reach: move slowly enough that the strap stays still.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
