TRX Single-Leg Plank

The forearm plank with one foot in a TRX cradle while the free leg lifts behind and lowers through the hold.

How to do it

Setup

Forearm plank, one foot in the TRX cradle at hip height, the other leg hanging just below it.

Steps

  1. Raise the free leg behind until it passes the strap.
  2. Lower it without touching the floor.
  3. Keep going for the time; switch feet in the cradle.

Common mistakes

Body swinging sideways on the single strap: brace and slow the lift. Hips sagging as the leg rises: squeeze the glutes and pull the ribs down. Arching the lower back to lift higher: stop when the leg is level with the hips.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
