TRX Rear Delt Row

Lean back from the TRX handles and row the body up with the elbows flared at shoulder height; the rear delts pull, not the lats.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the anchor, leaning back in one line, arms straight, palms down, elbows turned out.

Steps

  1. Row the chest up, elbows flaring to shoulder height.
  2. Hold the body straight from heels to head.
  3. Lower back to straight arms without dropping the elbows.

Common mistakes

Elbows dropping to the ribs: that is the plain TRX row; keep them wide. Hips dropping below the line: brace so the body moves in one piece. Shrugging toward the straps: shoulders down, neck long.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale on the way down.
