TRX Power Pull

The one-arm TRX row with a turn: the body opens away from the anchor with the free arm reaching back, then rows and turns to face the anchor again.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the anchor, one handle in one hand, leaning back on a straight arm, feet hip-width, the free arm reaching toward the anchor.

Steps

  1. Lower the body back, turning open and reaching the free arm behind you.
  2. Row with the working arm as the body turns back to face the anchor.
  3. Finish with the free arm reaching toward the anchor, body in one line.

Common mistakes

Hips sagging as you turn: squeeze the glutes, one line. Turning the arm alone: the chest and shoulders rotate together. Straps going slack: keep tension from the first rep to the last.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
