Resistance Band Renegade Row
A renegade row against a band cuffed between the wrists: one hand pins it to the floor while the other rows up.
How to do it
Setup
High plank on the hands, a band cuffed around both wrists, feet wide.
Steps
- Row one elbow up and back against the band.
- Keep the hips level and the planted hand pressing down.
- Lower the hand to the floor and row the other side.
Common mistakes
Hips rotating toward the rowing arm: widen the feet and brace. Rowing with a shrug: pull the elbow back, not the shoulder up. Band too light to feel: shorten it or pick a stronger band.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
