Plank Push-Up Row
In a plank on two dumbbells, do a push-up, then row one bell to the hip, then the other; the hips stay square through every part.
How to do it
Setup
Plank with a hand on each dumbbell under the shoulders, feet wide, body one line.
Steps
- Lower the chest between the bells and press back up.
- Row one bell to the hip, then set it down quietly.
- Row the other bell, then start the next push-up.
Common mistakes
Hips rocking as a bell leaves the floor: feet wider, brace harder. Bells that can roll: only hex bells, set square under the shoulders. Chest sagging on the push-up: lower as one line.
Breathing
Exhale on each push and row, inhale lowering.
