Table Top Bridge Jack

In a reverse tabletop, hop the feet out wide as the hips lower and back together as they lift, the hands planted behind.

How to do it

Setup

Hands planted behind you, fingers toward the feet, knees bent and feet together, hips bridged into a flat table.

Steps

  1. Hop the feet out wide as the hips sink toward the floor.
  2. Hop them back together as the hips drive up to the table.
  3. Land softly on flat feet and keep a steady rhythm.

Common mistakes

Hips sitting on the floor between hops: they hover low and drive back up. Landing on the heels with a thud: land softly on flat feet. Shoulders sinking to the ears: push the floor away with the hands.

Breathing

Fast steady rhythm.
