Glute Bridge March

The floor bridge held up while the knees lift toward the chest in turn.

How to do it

Setup

On the back, knees bent, feet flat, arms on the floor, hips lifted.

Steps

  1. Raise one knee over the hip.
  2. Keep the hips high and level.
  3. Set the foot down and lift the other knee.

Common mistakes

Hips sagging with each lift: the standing glute holds them up. Pelvis rotating toward the lifted leg: square. Rushing the march: a slow lift, a slow set-down.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
