Ring Pullover
Facing the rings' anchor and leaning back with the arms raised along the straps, sweep the straight arms down to the thighs; the pull brings the body upright.
How to do it
Setup
Facing the anchor, rings held overhead on straight arms, body leaning back in one line, heels down.
Steps
- Sweep the straight arms down toward the thighs.
- Keep the body in one line as it rises to upright.
- Let the arms rise and lean back to the start with control.
Common mistakes
Bending the elbows to finish: keep them long; step back if it is too hard. Hips folding as the body rises: squeeze the glutes, one line. Dropping back into the lean: lower slowly.
Breathing
Exhale sweeping down, inhale returning.
