Resistance Band One-Arm Bent-Over Row

A flat loop under the front foot of a long split stance, rowed with one hand while the torso leans over the front leg.

How to do it

Setup

Long split stance, the loop under the front foot, torso leaning forward with a flat back, the loop's end in one hand.

Steps

  1. Row the loop to the hip, elbow along the body.
  2. Keep the chest square to the floor.
  3. Lower slowly and finish the side before switching.

Common mistakes

Twisting open as the loop stretches: the shoulders stay level. Front knee drifting in: keep it over the toes. Loop slipping under the foot: stand on it with the whole sole.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
