Resistance Band Bent-Over Neutral-Grip Row

The bent-over row standing on a flat looped band, its ends held with the palms facing each other and rowed to the waist.

How to do it

Setup

Standing on the loop with both feet, hinged to about 45°, the loop's ends held palms in.

Steps

  1. Row the ends to the waist, elbows along the sides.
  2. Hold the top where the loop pulls hardest.
  3. Lower slowly, keeping the hinge.

Common mistakes

Loop rolling off the feet: stand on it with the whole foot. Standing up as the loop stretches: the hinge holds. Wrists twisting out of neutral: the palms face each other throughout.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
