Lying Single Legs Reverse Biceps Curl with Towel
A bodyweight curl on the floor: a towel hooked around one raised leg, the arms curl overhand and pull the torso up from lying to sitting.
How to do it
Setup
Lying on the back, one knee bent and raised, a towel hooked around that leg, ends held overhand, arms long.
Steps
- Curl the arms, pulling the chest up toward the knee.
- Keep the leg still; it is the anchor, not a lever.
- Lower the back to the floor slowly, chin tucked.
Common mistakes
Kicking the leg away to throw the torso up: the arms do the work. Dropping back onto the head: lower slowly with the chin tucked. Towel slipping along the leg: set it where it holds before the first rep.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
