Front Plank Walkout
From a high plank, walk the hands forward until the body is long and low, then walk them back under the shoulders.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, feet hip-width, hands stacked under the shoulders.
Steps
- Walk the hands forward one at a time.
- Stop while you can still hold the hips in line.
- Walk the hands back under the shoulders.
Common mistakes
Walking out further than you can hold: the lower back sags; stop sooner. Hips piking to make it easier: keep one line from head to heels. Hands slapping down: place each one.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
