EZ-Bar Biceps Curl (With Arm Blaster)
The EZ-bar curl with the upper arms braced on an arm blaster; the angled grips spare the wrists while the plate keeps the elbows out of the lift.
How to do it
Setup
Arm blaster strapped on, backs of the upper arms on the plate, EZ-bar held underhand on its angled grips at the thighs.
Steps
- Curl the bar up in front of the chest, elbows fixed on the plate.
- Squeeze where the forearms meet the biceps.
- Lower slowly to full extension.
Common mistakes
Hands on the straight middle of the bar: settle them into the angled grips. Elbows lifting off the plate at the top: stop the curl where they still touch it. Dropping the bar the last few inches: lower all the way under control.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
