Dumbbell Seated Alternate Front Raise
Seated alternating front raises, one bell lowering as the other lifts; sitting takes the hips out.
How to do it
Setup
Seated on the end of a flat bench, feet planted, bells beside the thighs.
Steps
- Raise one bell to shoulder height as the other lowers.
- Sit tall; the torso stays still.
- Keep swapping sides in a slow, even rhythm.
Common mistakes
Rocking back on the bench: sit tall, lighter bells. Rushing the swap into a swing: slow arcs, no momentum. Wrist bending at the top: a straight line from the elbow to the knuckles.
Breathing
Steady with the rhythm.
