Dumbbell Kneeling Bicep Curl on Stability Ball

Both dumbbells curled while kneeling upright on top of a stability ball; the curl itself is plain, and holding the kneel is what this variant adds.

How to do it

Setup

Kneeling upright on a stability ball, shins on it, hips over the knees, a dumbbell in each hand at the sides.

Steps

  1. Find a steady kneel before the bells move.
  2. Curl both bells slowly to the shoulders.
  3. Lower them just as slowly, torso upright.

Common mistakes

Trying the kneel for the first time with weights: learn it empty-handed next to a rack you can grab. Hips sinking back toward the heels: keep them stacked over the knees. Fast reps that rock the ball: slow both ways.

Breathing

Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
