Cable One-Arm Incline Fly on Stability Ball

The one-arm cable fly with the hips dropped below the shoulders on the ball, so the arm sweeps up toward the collarbone.

How to do it

Setup

Ball beside a low pulley, hips lower than the shoulders, the near arm out wide and low.

Steps

  1. Sweep the handle up and across toward the opposite collarbone.
  2. Pause there with the cable still taut.
  3. Let the arm return wide and low, then switch sides after the set.

Common mistakes

Hips sinking to the floor: the ball holds the incline; keep them just below the shoulders. Shrugging as the arm rises: blade down. Twisting toward the working arm: the chest stays square.

Breathing

Exhale on the sweep up, inhale lowering.
