Bodyweight Row in Doorway
Holding the edge of a door frame with both hands, lean back on straight arms and row the chest back to it; the steeper you lean, the harder the row.
How to do it
Setup
Facing the edge of a door frame, both hands gripping it at chest height, feet close to its base, leaning back on straight arms.
Steps
- Pull the chest to the frame, elbows driving back past the ribs.
- Squeeze the shoulder blades together.
- Lean back to straight arms under control.
Common mistakes
Feet slipping away: set them close to the frame on a floor that grips. Hips folding back: keep one line from heels to head. Grip letting go at the bottom: lean only as far as you can hold.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale on the way down.
