Balance 3-Point Toe Tap
Balancing on one leg, bend that knee and reach the other foot to tap the floor in front, to the side and behind; the standing leg controls every reach.
How to do it
Setup
Standing on one leg, knee soft, hands on the hips or out for balance.
Steps
- Bend the standing knee and tap the free foot lightly in front.
- Rise, then reach and tap to the side, then behind.
- Stand tall between taps; switch legs after the set.
Common mistakes
Putting weight on the tapping foot: it only touches. Standing knee caving on the side reach: keep it over the toes. Hips dropping toward the free leg: keep them level.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
