Wide Glute Pulse Bridge

A floor glute bridge with the feet set wide and the knees out, pulsing through a short range near the top.

How to do it

Setup

On your back, feet wider than the hips and turned out, knees pointing the same way as the toes.

Steps

  1. Lift the hips into the bridge.
  2. Pulse a hand's width down and up without resting on the floor.
  3. Lower all the way only when the set is done.

Common mistakes

Knees caving in from the wide stance: push them out over the toes. Pulses turning into full reps: stay near the top. Lower back doing the pulse: small range, glutes only.

Breathing

Short exhales on each pulse.
