Weighted Seated One-Arm Wrist Curl
The palms-up wrist curl one arm at a time, a plate held by its rim in place of a dumbbell.
How to do it
Setup
Seated, forearm on the thigh, palm up, a plate gripped at the rim beyond the knee.
Steps
- Let the plate pull the hand down and open.
- Curl it up as high as the wrist bends.
- Finish one side before the other.
Common mistakes
Holding the plate only by the fingertips: take enough rim to keep it safe. Forearm lifting: it stays on the thigh. Wrist bending sideways under the plate: curl straight up.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
