Weighted Seated Bicep Curl (On Stability Ball)
Seated on a stability ball, one arm curls a medicine ball resting in the open palm; the rolling seat keeps the trunk working.
How to do it
Setup
Seated tall on a stability ball, feet wide, a medicine ball in one open palm at the side, arm straight.
Steps
- Curl the ball up toward the shoulder, palm under it.
- Keep the elbow at your side and the seat still.
- Lower slowly; switch arms after the set.
Common mistakes
Ball rolling off the palm at the top: cup the fingers around it. Rocking on the stability ball: plant the feet wide. Leaning to the working side: sit square.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
