TRX Biceps Clutch

The TRX curl with the knuckles pressed together: both handles travel to the breastbone and the elbows lift and open, instead of the hands parting toward the forehead.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the anchor, a handle in each hand, palms facing, knuckles touching, arms straight, body leaning back in one line.

Steps

  1. Curl the handles toward the breastbone, knuckles together.
  2. Let the elbows lift and open to the sides as the chest meets the hands.
  3. Lower slowly back to straight arms.

Common mistakes

Hands drifting apart: the knuckles touch through every rep. Hips sagging as the body rises: brace in one line from heels to head. Dropping back onto straight arms: lower as slowly as you rise.

Breathing

Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
