Sun Salutation B
A longer salutation: chair pose at both ends and a warrior I on each side between the downward dogs.
How to do it
Setup
Feet together, arms by the sides, eyes forward.
Steps
- Sink into a chair pose, arms up, then fold.
- Step back, lower, then upward and downward dog.
- Step into warrior I, arms up, and flow back to downward dog.
- Repeat the warrior on the other side.
- Step forward, fold, and rise through the chair pose.
Common mistakes
Front knee past the ankle in the warrior: step longer. Knees shooting past the toes in the chair: sit the hips back first. Holding the breath in the long chain: slow down instead.
Breathing
Keep one movement to one breath all the way through.
