Stability Ball Rounded Rollout
A short rollout from the toes with the forearms on a stability ball, the back held slightly rounded and the pelvis tucked as the ball rolls out and back.
How to do it
Setup
Plank on the toes, forearms on top of a stability ball, pelvis tucked, upper back rounded.
Steps
- Roll the ball a short way forward, the forearms staying on it.
- Keep the pelvis tucked; the lower back never dips.
- Pull the ball back under the shoulders with the abs.
Common mistakes
Flattening the back to reach further: the rounded back is the point; roll shorter. Hips dropping below the line: tuck the pelvis before each roll. Ball rolling sideways: press evenly with both forearms.
Breathing
Inhale rolling out, exhale pulling back.
