Stability Ball Rollout on Knees

Kneeling behind a stability ball with the forearms on it, roll it forward until the body is long from the knees to the shoulders and pull it back with the abs.

How to do it

Setup

Kneeling on a mat, the ball in front, forearms and fists resting on top of it, torso upright.

Steps

  1. Roll the ball forward on the forearms, the hips following.
  2. Stop when the body is one line from the knees to the shoulders.
  3. Pull the ball back under the chest with the abs.

Common mistakes

Lower back sagging at the far point: shorten the roll until the trunk stays rigid. Hips staying back while the arms roll: the body travels as one piece. Pulling back with the arms: the abs bring the ball home.
