Single-Leg Jumping Glute Bridge

The floor bridge on one leg, driven up fast enough that the planted foot pops off the floor at the top.

How to do it

Setup

On your back, one foot planted near the glutes, the other leg lifted.

Steps

  1. Drive the hips up fast through the planted heel.
  2. Let the foot hop off the floor at the top.
  3. Catch the foot softly and lower the hips to just above the floor.

Common mistakes

Slamming the hips into the floor between reps: lower under control. Pushing through the toes: drive with the heel. Pelvis tipping: keep both hips level.

Breathing

Exhale driving up, inhale lowering.
