Rope Straight-Arm Pulldown
The straight-arm pulldown with a rope, spreading the ends at the bottom.

How to do it
Setup
Rope on the high pulley, ends in both hands, straight arms at eye level, slight hinge.
Steps
- Sweep the rope down to the thighs, arms straight.
- Spread the ends apart at the bottom.
- Return up the arc under tension.
Common mistakes
Bending into a pushdown: straight arms rule. Skipping the spread: the split finishes the lats' squeeze. Hunching over the cable: hinge slightly and keep the spine long.
Breathing
Exhale sweeping down, inhale returning.
