Roll Ball Forearm Flexors

The inside of the forearm rolls over a massage ball on a table or the floor, the other hand pressing down, to loosen the forearm flexors.

How to do it

Setup

The ball on a table or the floor, the forearm resting across it palm up, the other hand on top of the forearm.

Steps

  1. Roll the forearm over the ball from just above the wrist toward the elbow.
  2. Open and close the hand slowly while the ball sits on a tight spot.
  3. Pause on a tender spot and breathe until it eases, then switch arms.

Common mistakes

Rolling over the wrist or the inside of the elbow: stay on the muscle between them. Leaning the whole body onto the ball: the other hand adds the pressure, a little at a time. Carrying on through tingling in the fingers: move the ball off that spot.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
