Reverse Lunge
Step back into the lunge instead of forward; the knee travels less and the glute takes more.

How to do it
Setup
Standing tall, hands free or at the chest.
Steps
- Step BACK into the lunge.
- Front shin near vertical, back knee toward the floor.
- Drive through the front foot to return.
Common mistakes
Short back-steps: reach long; the front knee thanks you. Pushing off the back toes: the FRONT leg lifts. Torso pitching forward: tall through the step.
Breathing
Inhale stepping back, exhale returning.
