Resistance Band Lying Bent Knee Raise
The lying knee raise against a band from a low anchor beyond the feet: the knees draw up over the hips and the legs push back out long.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, arms by the sides, a band from a low anchor beyond the feet looped around both feet, legs long.
Steps
- Bend the knees and draw them up over the hips against the band.
- Pause with the thighs vertical.
- Push the legs back out long under control.
Common mistakes
Band slack at the start: move away from the anchor until it pulls with the legs long. Lower back arching as the legs extend: stop them higher off the floor. Letting the band yank the legs out: resist it on the way back.
Breathing
Exhale drawing the knees in, inhale extending.
